Just a quick note to y’all conservatives who favor the Trump border wall and are generally—come on, admit it—you really just don’t like Mexicans:
You know those so-called “illegal immigrants” who you claim are raping our women and stealing jobs from the rest of us? Ummm… now that y’all’s homes have been damaged by Harvey, who do you think Home Depot, Lowe’s, and smaller contractors are hiring cheap to restore the damage? Right now these Mexicans aren’t looking so bad, are they? Downright happy just to have your house being repaired, no matter who’s doing it, right?
But will your change of heart about “illegal immigrants” last once your house is repaired? One last thing: no matter how fast you want the border wall built, here’s an idea in the meantime. It’s Houston and it’s still summer and it’s still hot. Give these workers a break and make sure they have plenty of water and maybe some pizza for lunch. I mean, we’re all human beings… we are, aren’t we?
